1. What does it say? (describe the context)
"I started walking over toward Broadway, just for the hell of it, because i hadn't been over there in years. Besides, I wanted to find a record store that was open on Sunday. There was this record I wanted to get for Phoebe, called 'Little Shirley Beans.' It was a very hard record to get."

2. What does it mean? (analyze it)
Well, in the book, it shows that holden cares for the brethren he has left and that he will go to great lengths to make them happy.

3. Why does it matter? (explain the significance to the rest of the book)
It prooves he has a little soul left. How he can care for others in lieu of the death of Allie.
